Ira Carter's Tribute to Bob "Sundance" Davidson

Bob "Sundance" Davidson died all too soon in April 1999. This July,
Bob's friends from Webster College and everywhere else he touched down on Earth
gathered at his home in Spring Green, WI for a celebration of Bob's life.
Especially distraught to be absent was Laura Brown (Webster 1971-5), who missed
her flight because of a stomach flu. I am told the Webster contingent acquitted
itself admirably as the loudest and most joyful table at a both sad and happy event.
I miss Bob, he had a huge influence on my life. All Webster dates are based on my
atrophied memory and are unlikely to be correct.

Steve Levitt (Webster 1972-5)
Ace guitarist and singer, sweet power stroke from the left side, Cubs fan,
and Bob's friend from Francis Parker school in Chicago and Webster.
Rod Nesbit (Webster 1971-3)
Epitome of human joy, infectious cackling laughter, lawn jockey assasin
and Bob's friend from Francis Parker school in Chicago and Webster.
Steve Meyer (Webster 1971-3) and wife Gile Fredrick Meyer (Webster 1971-3)
Nicest people you'd ever care to meet. I did a horrible disservice to this
handsome couple making them squint into the sun. Steve also Bob's friend
from Francis Parker school in Chicago and Webster.
John Kyle (Webster 1971-5) and wife Ann Colichidas
John has been my friend over 60% of my life, with the figure climbing all the time.
Sold Christmas trees with Bob while "living" in a trailer. Bonds like that cannot
be broken. Ann is also a very nice person who tolerates my excesses.
